Our family at David C Rivett Family Funeral Directors in Yeovil can guide you through the process and our priority is that every care is taken for our clients and staff. This keeps us all safe, yet still allows us to provide a dignified service.
Funeral arrangments during the covid-19 pandemic
The guidelines surrounding COVID-19 are constantly changing and we endeavour to observe these as strictly as we are able to. Our office is regularly cleaned and disinfected which includes even the doorbell!
We consider a funeral a very personal arrangement. Inviting up to two members to our office in our larger front office to arrange the funeral in person. With such a large space, social distancing may be observed and when clients leave, windows doors and special disinfecting is carried out.
However if anyone feels unable to visit us for any reason we can offer telephone or video conferencing. Currently Yeovil crematorium have reduced service times due to COVID-19 restrictions and we can give advice on the number of people allowed to attend services and suggest alternative arrangements.

We hope that the restrictions placed on funerals and services will not be needed for too much longer, but in the meantime, we are here to help guide you through them. We're fully qualified and David himself has been working in the sector for over 50 years.
