Arranging a funeral
We are here to make this process as smooth and informative as possible. Every funeral is unique and we aim to arrange a service which entirely fits your requirements. We assist with every aspect including the arranging of a minister or officiant, the location, any flowers, newspaper entries, service sheets and music requirements. We respect all faiths and can also accommodate those who require a service with little or no religious content. The choice is for the client. From your first contact, we will give help and advice. Feel free to visit the office which is newly refurbished and comfortable or we can visit your home at a time convenient to you.
Funerals have changed
Many clients still require a traditional service in church with either burial or cremation. However, many clients now want modern music or an old favourite song. Willow coffins, horse drawn vehicles, colourful coffins etc are also becoming increasingly popular. Poems or readings often now replace scripture and singing a favourite song is often a favoured choice rather than a hymn. All recent additions to clients' requests can be accommodated. We will give advice and aim to provide just what suits the client, all as part of our personal service.
COSTINGS
Our fees are from £2595.00. This is for a local, in-hours removal and cremation or burial at Yeovil Cemetery. In addition to this, are fees payable to the crematorium, legal cremation documents, cemetery etc.
Other items which the family or the arranger may wish to add can include cars, newspaper advertisements, flowers and service sheets.
After arranging a funeral with us, written costs are always given to the client so that costings are made quite clear. For those suffering a problem with finance, we are willing to give help and advice on the best way to proceed.
